Video

We are streaming the conference live.  We are also going to provide video recordings after the fact.

Right now

Streaming has begun using Yahoo! Live and Adobe Flash, sadly a very proprietary setup. You can tune in by going to http://live.yahoo.com/okapi.

Recordings

The recordings will be available in an Ogg Theora stream, a community-developed video format (among others).

We recommend the VLC media player.  You can read instructions on how to install it at the Play Ogg project website.

Testing. To make sure you can Play Ogg, you can ask VLC to tune into this stream for testing: http://mirrors.creativecommons.org/getcreative/Creative_Commons_-_Get_Creative.ogg

Live. Due to technical difficulties, the live stream is not coming from the HD camera that will generate the Theora archives.

Chat

You can discuss the conference with other attendees by joining #freeculture on irc.freenode.net. You can get to that on the web using our handy web chat client.
